This 5-acre pet services facility consists of one environmentally controlled kennel building housing a total of 8 indoor and 8 outdoor plus double (for family) dogs and 8 cat runs and owner's home.   The kennel building has its own food preparation area, a separate laundry area, pet bathing area, reception area, and a stereo system for the guests' enjoyment. Kennels are sized to accommodate larger guests and multiple guests whose owners want their pets boarded together. Canine guests are provided with blankets, toys and individual food and water dishes. We provide cats with furniture, toys and individual water and food dishes.

 We are one of two pet care facilities in the area offering pick-up and delivery service for our boarding clients.

The Owner and several staff members live on the property and provide 24-hour care for our guests. We employ roving security patrols to further ensure the security of our customer's pets.

Staff

Spirit Kennels employs one full-time bather, one full-time and one part-time groomer, one full-time receptionist, a full-time kennel manager. Personnel are cross-trained to perform all non-specialized jobs within the kennel. Future plans call for 100% cross-training in those jobs that do not require specialized instruction, i.e. training, grooming and handling. The experience level of our specialized employees ranges from ten to twenty years. 

Security

Members of the staff, including the Owner, Kennel Manager live on the property, providing 24 hour security.  The property has 16 online cameras that constantly monitored and record for security reasons.

We strive to provide the highest quality of pet care possible on the gulf coast. We take the responsibility for caring for your dogs and cats seriously. We understand and respect that they are valued members of your family and have placed the following policies and procedures in effect to ensure that all of our guests and their owners are treated with love care.

HEALTH & SAFETY 

Your pet's health is of the utmost importance to us. All pets must be flea-free. Flea baths will be given, at the owner’s expense, to any dog or cat that arrives with fleas or ticks. The following vaccinations are required and must be administered at least five days prior to check-in:
